Golden Corral

Recently we took Remy to his first buffet. I LOVED buffets as a child and still get super excited when we go to one. I usually end up disappointed and annoyed that I spent that much on a meal since I am a super picky eater and usually end up eating....mashed potatoes. Which are not real anyways, but whatever. There is just something about having a ton of choices and getting soft serve ice cream for dessert. And yes, I do live in the Midwest.
We had not been to the Golden Corral in Fargo and one day neither Nic or I had to work and we didn't have work off for a reason (like camping, family events ect - times when we are not actually at home while not working) so we decided to go up to Fargo.

Remy was not that impressed with the drive.

He had; mac & cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, pot roast and a biscuit. This is the first time we had been out to eat since he decided he was done with baby food and he LOVED it. I cannot imagine how much more fun it will be (for me) when he can feed himself completely!

He spent most of his time being a voyeur and checking out other peoples table's and flirting with the waitress.

But to really get the full feeling for the meal you must watch this video. The music was fairly loud (for a restaurant at least) and Remy would move to the music, stop and eat a little, move to the music, look around, move to the music, eat a little. You get the picture. That kid loves music!
