Tomorrow at 9 we close on our new house. You would think that I would be all packed and ready to move but I haven't packed one little thing. I have pulled out a bunch of clothes from a closet upstairs and left them in a messy pile on the floor because I am "packing" and just a little bit ago I brought up 6 boxes from the basement so I can pack. I am not sure how I am supposed to fit a whole kitchen, much less the rest of our stuff, in 6 boxes but maybe I should have gotten some boxes?
In all fairness most of our stuff is still packed and in storage with the exception of our clothes, kitchen stuff, dvd's and office supplies along with our endless supply of electronics (sigh). And as my sister pointed out - we are only moving across town (I have used that statement to rationalize myself out of packing for the last couple of weeks). I was going to pack yesterday but I went to Fargo instead with my sister-in-law and mother-in-law and I got fabric for our sofa!! We bought the sofa 2 years ago with the intent of recovering it and haven't gotten around to it/haven't had the money for it but I couldn't stand it anymore! It was originally white but it was dirty when we got it - after a professional cleaning nonetheless - and has some not so great different colored pillows on it. I always feel like I have to apologize for it when people come over so I am super excited to have it look nice! And what perfect timing since we will be able to paint the living room to go with it!
As a side note: when we were in Fargo yesterday I was feeding Remy at the mall. He was not interested at all because he had to look at everyone that walked by. He is such a curious little boy who always needs to be looking around and thinking about things. I swear you can see the little wheels in his brain turning! When I carry him anywhere he always tries to turn around as far as he can to see where we are going. I can't wait until he starts talking so I can know what he is thinking about so seriously all the time!
Well - I guess I better get to "packing".

I hope your packing goes well (no matter what it's still going to end up at your new house) :)
I'm so excited to see your "new" couch! Heck, I'm excited to see your whole new house!
Remy is so fantastic, it'll be interesting to see what he's like the older he gets. :) I can only imagine how much he liked looking at all the people!
