Moving

Not us - my parents!! My parents bought a place in the country 6 years ago when all of us girls were done with high school and they had 3 boys ages 14, 12 and 10. Now that they are essentially emptynesters (my brother David who is 16 technically still lives at home, but goes to school in a town 40 minutes away so is not around much) they decided to move. My dad is an over the road truck driver and my petite mother had been left to try to clean the snow out of their huge country yard. Incidentally the biggest snow drifts were always in front of the garage. I was worried about her out there in the country by herself so I am happy they decided to move into town.

They bought a cute little house in the small town my mom works in. Of course I forgot to take any pictures of the actual house. But here is my dad slaving away while he tries to fit furniture through smaller hallways and doors than even our house has.

Eric, Tina's husband, came and helped and brought their daughter Grace along. She is a hoot - much like a female version of Jackson (My sister Anna's boy) and was very interested in everything going on.
Here she is "helping" Grandpa. I set her down for a second so I could get her carseat in my car and when I turned around she was already sitting on the table.

Here she is taunting Remy with a cell phone, he would try to get it from her and

She would jerk it away saying "NO!!" and then laugh hysterically while he whined with frustration.
This is the best I could get of her laughing - so funny!!

I think I watched Grace and Remy together for maybe a total of an hour, I even took them to the grocery store with me...by myself! As much fun as it was I think I am officially cured of baby fever for a looooong time. Recently I had been thinking, "o little newborn babies are so cute and they can't move so I could force one to cuddle with me..." ect ect. But after watching two babies together I was completely overwhelmed and just wanted to curl up in a corner and cry. I am in awe of Tina who will have her second in 6 weeks! Although, there is a big difference between watching two active babies and watching one active baby and one practically non-mobile newborn. But seriously, how do people do it who have twins?!!

Thank you for watching Grace! I knew it wasn't the best idea to send her up on moving day but we didn't have anywhere else to take her that day.
