Keepin' It Classy

Our motto for this vacation was "Keepin' It Classy".
This came about for several reasons. The main one being our camping rig.

Could we get more white trash?
A few other highlights:
- going for a very fast ride in Josh's new subaru while listening to Miley Cyrus' "The Climb"
- Nic pointing out that I was wearing his sweatpants backwards while standing next to a busy road. O and they were falling down too.
- Letting our child spend 90% of the time crawling on the grass and dirt and not giving him a bath until 48 hours after getting there.

There were so many other times that Nic and I would look at each other and say "Keepin' it classy!". I just don't remember all of them.

On the way down to Waterville, MN we stopped in Granite Falls to eat our picnic lunch and Nic took Remy out on the river next to the dam.

Here is one side of our camper all set up.

And the other side.

Mark and Naomi family picture, this is seriously the best picture I had on my camera. Sorry to all the people who don't look the greatest in the picture!
Grandma Carol with all of her great-grandkids.

Austin and Remy. Austin loved Remy .

Feeding Remy in the camper. Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks!!

We stopped at an overlook near Glenwood on the way home.

The vacation was fun, but I think I need another vacation to recover. Remy was such a good little baby and even started napping the last day or so. I think he is going to be pretty lonely without all the people around for him to talk to.

Tomorrow: Birthday week begins!

HAHAHAHHAHA...I love that!

In all seriousness though, that's really the rachel way of camping! No tent, no sleeping on the ground, etc... :)

Vacations should always include recuperation time after you get back. I think this every time we get back in town really late at night from being out of town.

BIRTHDAY WEEK! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
