One of my part time jobs is working at Walgreens. As you might think, many of our customers are seniors. Not to long ago a cute, little old lady came up to the counter pushing her walker. She probably came up to my shoulder and I would say she was around 80. She explained that her son-in-law had given her a digital camera and she needed to print pictures but had no idea how to and that she couldn't really see or hear so she would need lots of help.
So I sat down with her at the kiosk and helped her look through her pictures and print them off. She was a hoot - kind of like a female version of my Grandpa Asche. Several times she asked me who was in the picture or what the picture was of and if there were similar pictures, which one was the better one.
We finished up her pictures and I ran around the store and grabbed the rest of the items on her list. As she finished paying and set her bags on her walker I asked her if she was walking home, to which she tartly replied "O no, I drove here!".
I just about fell over, this little old lady who couldn't see her pictures on the computer screen 2 feet away from her face was DRIVING HOME!

Did she remind you the most of Grandpa at the moment she told you she was driving and could not see?
