Today Remy and I made the trip to Maple Grove by ourselves, which meant that instead of stopping at Cabelas we spent our extra time at the Super Target in Maple Grove. I saved my bi-weekly Target shopping that I usually do the day before we go down to therapy for today so that I could have a good excuse to go to Super Target.
Super Targets are just so... so....Super!! There is a Starbucks, a little deli, a full grocery store and a lot more merchandise that they don't have at our little Target. In fact, I didn't know how many things I needed until after I browsed for an hour and a half. I did practice self control and only got what was on my list. Mostly because everything I wanted was not on clearance, and after all, what person of Ellefson descent would ever buy
anything full price!?
The most surprising thing was the maternity clothes. Why is it when I was pregnant there was no such thing as cute maternity clothes? Not only did they have cute maternity clothes but they had cute maternity clothes on clearance! Most importantly jeans...in my size, 75% off!! Another steal was an adorable tank top that I would have even worn now, not being pregnant. Unfortunately for Nic, cute clothes are not enough for me to want to get pregnant ever again.
Super Targets also have a lot more selection in the home furniture and accessories section. There were some teal lamps that I salivated over. And the clothes hampers...the clothes hampers!! I could go on and on but I'll stop. I think you get the picture.
I think Super Targets are perhaps what I miss most about living in the cities. Regardless my little fix was enough to make me happy....for now.
