Snapshots

This is the face Remy makes when he doesn't want to be doing something. If he is done eating this is the face he makes, if he doesn't want to sit on your lap this is the face he makes and if he doesn't want a certain toy this is the face he makes. Usually he scrunches his nose too but this was the closest look I could capture. Sorry about the poor quality of the photo...I don't like taking the time to learn how to take nice pictures.

I love his big head on his little shoulders, its just so stinking cute!


Remy has been waking up earlier than usual, at 6:30 instead of 7:30, so I have been giving him a bottle in the rocking chair in his room and then putting him in bed with me and Nic so I can try to catch a little more sleep. He usually sits there and plays with his toys and will occasionally reach over to try to get Nic's attention or to pull my hair. When he gets sick of that I open the window blinds above our bed and stand him up. He holds onto the bed and watches the cars drive by. I just love that little diapered butt atop of his chubby little legs working so hard to hold his body up.

This is Remy and I getting ready to walk to Papa Murphys which is just down the block from us. It was so warm and sunny this morning that I just had to get out with him. Remy LOVES anything to do with the outdoors but its been so cold this winter I haven't wanted to venture out at all. We had to run next door to the neighbors today and after being outside so briefly I thought it would be fun for Remy to be outside a little longer. So in the sling he went and off to Papa Murphys. He seemed to really enjoy it, and it made me that much more excited for spring and summer! I know he is going to love being outside so much and hopefully that will get me outside more too, since I am known for NOT liking being outside.
