This week I did not work a couple of nights and Nic was working in Sauk Rapids and Burnsville for the week. I needed someone to watch Remy while I worked Monday and Wednesday night so I enlisted my little brother, David, to help.
As you can see Remy loves David.
There are not many people Remy will cuddle with for even a few seconds but he loves his Abu!
Remy also had an appointment in Maple Grove on Tuesday so we drove down to Sauk Rapids on Monday afternoon so we could spend the night with Nic after he got off work.
We went to the Munsinger Gardens in St. Cloud which are absolutely beautiful and border the Mississippi River. The best part? Its free!
Nic and Remy liked one of the many fountains.
After we stopped at Munsinger Gardens we returned to the hotel and took Remy swimming for the first time. I have never been able to get him to go more than a couple inches into water at the lake, but Nic was along to make it fun for him at the pool. We put him in his turtle floaty and he didn't seem too sure about it but eventually he warmed up to it.
While Nic worked on Wednesday we went to Caribou where Remy tried to order for himself.
His appointment went well in Maple Grove and we had enough time to go to Como Zoo before meeting Nic in Burnsville to spend another night with him.
Remy was not too impressed with the zoo.
I have a couple pictures of him looking interested but for the most part he had that look on his face and prefered people watching to looking at animals.
We met Molly and Ryan in Burnsville where we took Remy to the play area at the mall while we waited for Nic to get done with work. Remy had been in a carseat, stroller or cart for the majority of the day so he was raring to go.
He spent part of the time pestering this little boy.
Remy followed that poor kid all over the play area, much to his exasperation.
Thursday we drove home and Remy couldn't be happier to be home!
