Overnight Trip

My computer is finally fixed! Which means my long-awaited (I can pretend right?) post about our Minneapolis trip is finally here!

Last Wednesday we went down for a therapy appointment and stayed overnight so we could do a little shopping. We took Nic's Sister, Melissa, and her baby, Esther, along for the ride.

Here is Esther.

I just love her little curls. I think she looks like a forest fairy. Remy wasn't quite sure about sharing the back seat but they both slept almost the whole way down which was great.
We stopped at the Albertville Outlet Mall and did some shopping. We stopped midway through shopping there to feed the babies.

Esther was a little peeved when Melissa took away her food before she was done so Remy tried to comfort her.

After Albertville we had therapy while Melissa did some more shopping and then we went to Cabela's to get Fathers Day gifts.

We stayed at Scott and Wendy's beautiful house in Eden Prairie. Remy was intrigued by the door stop since it made funny noises.

And that is basically all the pictures I have. I forgot to take pictures the second day and really didn't take that many to begin with anyway.
Although it was a good trip it ended kind of badly. Remy has a stuffed puppy dog that my mom gave him when we were still in the hospital right after he was born. He has slept with it every night for most of his life. While we were at Ikea he threw it out of the stroller without me noticing. Melissa went back and looked through Ikea but couldn't find it, I was just sick about it! I think Remy is fine, though.

While we were at Albertville Remy and I both got sandels.

I got mine for $9 at BCBG. Thats right $9. I got Remy sandals because he doesn't have any shoes that fit him and he is going to start walking soon and will need something to protect his tender little feet.

I thought I would put them on him while he crawled around the house so he could get used to wearing them.

As you can see he was not impressed. He cried until I took them off.

Haahaaa! Remy must not share Tucker's affinity for shoes!
