Baby's First Fishing Expedition

Last week we went shore fishing as a family for the first time this year. Seth and Anna and kids met us out at Orwell Dam after we all had hotdogs together.

And Tucker, he was sleeping.


Jackson had a grand old time fishing.

He spent a lot of time running full tilt towards the water while Anna screamed "Jackson, NO!! Stay away from the edge!!". He played with everyone's fishing rods and instructed me over and over again "let the bobber sit, Rachel! Let it sit!".
He was hilarious.

Remy spent a lot of time being cranky on the blanket. I think he just wanted to run around as wildly as Jackson.


But then I caught a large-mouth bass and Nic brought it over for Remy to see.

He petted the fish over and over again and I think would have thrown it around if Nic had let him. The poor fish was probably doubly happy to be tossed back after being manhandled by Remy.
