I was really disappointed that I did not bring the camera to the appointment because he was making some really funny faces when he first had the helmet on. He did try to take it off the first time he had it on. But I just put it on again after his nap and he has not even noticed it. In fact, he is down right happy.
When he looks up the helmet holds the skin on his forehead down so he looks slightly grumpy, but definitely funny.
Here is a side view of the helmet. It kind of reminds me of the helmets that Biblical-era Romans wore. Too bad its not close to Halloween!
I am thinking about buzzing his hair because it sticks out through the cracks on he side and sometimes out the top. Plus it would probably be cooler in the summer months to not have as much hair underneath the helmet. Although I am just not quite sure since I originally didn't plan on cutting his hair until he was 3 or 4. But I guess we could cut it now and then still let it grow out, it just would not be the same since it wouldn't be his first baby hair.

OH He is SO cute! I am so thankful for you and Nic that he hasn't been fussy about it (at least yet). We'll pray that continues!
