Yelling and more

Here is the video Anna was referring to in her her previous comment. It really is funny but doesn't even really do justice to the yelling because he was starting to wind down and go to sleep. This morning he was laying on the couch yelling his little heart out, part because he was tired and part because I had inadvertently laid his bare little legs on top of a cold spot of spit up on his blanket.

Here are a couple little tidbits from yesterday.
When he woke up I gave him his morning bottle which he sucked down and then I put him up on my shoulder to burp him. He decided he would rather lean across my chest and prop himself up with his arms. So I am absentmindedly patting his back while I watch my morning tv and he lets out a nice burp. I smile "good job Remy!" he looks up at me ever so sweetly, gives me a nice big smile and then points his head down and vomits spit up all over my tank top and down my shirt. I was literally drenched in spit up.

I got back at him later by taking him shopping, not his favorite. Mostly because I make him stay squished in his car seat the whole time. He never cries or anything, but he only tolerates it, doesn't enjoy it unless I bring the stroller and take him out of his car seat. Anyways, we were at Target going through the checkout and I look at him sitting so nicely in his car seat being so good - so I lean down to give him a kiss and he sighs this HUGE sigh. As if to say "Please hurry up!! I hate this!".


This is a little off the subject but I was looking at purevolume.com today trying to see what the kids are listening to these days since I am hopelessly out of the loop. I really do want to know whats going on in the world of music but I think I lost any credibility I had when I started to listen to pop music obsessively. O Britney and Rihanna how I love you!
Anyways so I am loking over the top played bands and who should be there but Kiros!? Probably only Molly will remember but YEARS AGO (actually like 3 years ago exactly) I had a brief fling (and by fling really I mean nothing) with a J. Dick. And no I am not being crass, that really is his last name - good thing nothing came of it. At the start of this fling I went on a coffee date with said male and we were teased to no end by this band Kiros. You see the band J.D. was in was opening for Kiros that night and so they all thought it would be fun to tag along on our little outing and sit in the corner whispering things and making it all o so awkward. So it was kind of funny to see them on purevolume looking like they might actually be making a go of it. Mostly all I remember about them is that their lead singer was obnoxious and a man whore. But really, what lead singer isn't a man whore?
